Med Tech - Delegated

Job Summary

Lynden Manor Assisted Living has an opening for a caring responsible Delegated Med Tech to join our exceptional nursing team. 
Requirements:
• NAC/HCA Certified in good standing
• Delegation Certification Completed
• CPR/First Aide
• Washington Food Handler's Permit

Med Tech OVERVIEW:

The Med Tech is responsible for medications, treatments and resident care duties as assigned by the Director of Nursing. This position administers medications according to acceptable standards. The Med Tech acts under the guidance and delegation of a licensed Registered Nurse. If appropriate, answers questions of residents and their family members. Ensures the medication area is kept clean. Also, responsible to ensure that the next shift has a responsible and qualified staff member on duty to administer resident medications.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
• Administers medication and treatments as assigned within the scope of practice.
• Maintains up keep and cleanliness of medication carts and medication room, and keeps the medication cart stocked appropriately.
• Responsible for recording and / or restocking of medications from pharmacy.
• Maintains accurate, complete and confidential resident medication and care records.
• Fills out Incident Report for resident and / or personnel when an incident occurs on shift.
Takes and records vital signs as ordered and otherwise when necessary, i.e., monthly or daily as instructed by supervisor.
• Notifies a supervisor at once if noting any adverse reaction of medication on resident or awareness of medication error.
• Communicates, as needed, with physicians, families, and other appropriate parties concerning resident status, change in status, need for appointment, etc.
Fills in Caregiver responsibilities as needed.
• Other tasks and duties as assigned

LPN/RN

Job Summary

Your responsibilities:
* Provide nursing services to residents, while promoting the highest level of well-being, as directed by management
* Administer medication and treatments according to health care providers' orders and state regulations
* Assist Director of Nursing in creating individualized service plans based on resident needs
* Supervise and direct nursing assistants as needed
* Monitor resident responses to treatment plans and identify adverse medication interactions, alerting the Director of Nursing of any issues
* Update resident records with information regarding nursing care, treatment plans and observations

Required skills and qualifications:
* Current RN/LPN in good standing
* One year of nursing experience, preferably in an assisted living/Skilled environment
* Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office programs
* Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
* Must enjoy working with the senior population

Receptionist -(CLOSED) 10-12-18

 Lynden Manor is seeking a entry-level receptionist part-time to join our team! We are an Assisted Living community located in Lynden right across from Bender Field. Duties include answering phones, administrative support, taking messages, and data entry.

Our reception area is open from 8:00am – 9:00pm every day. Weekday shifts will be 4.75 hours, 4:15pm to 9pm and 8 hour shifts on weekends, 8:00am to 4:30pm. The normal work week will be approximately an average of 14 to 17 hours.

The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, positive, kind individual with great customer service skills and the ability to work in an organized way. We're looking for someone who can work independently on projects while multi-tasking as inquiries and calls come in to the desk. Experience with Word, Publisher and Excel is needed
