As Assistant Administrator I help in overseeing the day to day operations of the facility to ensure everything runs smoothly. Also, I do the accounting and financial reporting of the Company. I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my work and strive to make the residents’ stay at Lynden Manor the best it can be."

I have had the pleasure to work in many different facets of the culinary field working in establishments such as Casino’s to Assisted Living/Skilled nursing facilities. My goal is to not change anything here at the Manor, which already has a very high quality of food and service but to expand on it and bring new and exciting things to the kitchen here at Lynden Manor. My team and I in the dining room and kitchen, are devoted to presenting each resident with quality food and service that take you from the comforts and memories of you own home, to the dining experience of an upscale restaurant. "My Name is Debbie Taplin and I have been an Activity Director for over 35 years with over half those years here at Lynden Manor. I live in Alger with my husband Jim and one very spoiled Golden Retriever. We have 3 grown sons and 3 beautiful grandsons."

" I recently graduated from Western with a bachelor’s degree in Human Services. I have a background in leading activities for seniors as well as caregiving in long-term care. We have resided in Lynden for the past 11 years and My Husband and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniverssary. We have 5 lively children ranging from 8 to 17 years old. My faith is an important part of who I am, and I have a passion for social justice and serving others. Additionally, I love to swim, bike and practice yoga. It is my honor to be able to serve you as Activities Director and I welcome your input and suggestions regarding activity planning."
