Lynden Manor Assisted Living Residence maintains an integrated Special Care Unit in a secured wing on our ground floor. It is staffed separately from the general assisted living residency. Our staff follows the Gentlecare philosophy, developed by Dr. Moyra Jones to give daily loving care to residents with Alzheimer's and dementia types of cognitive losses. Each resident in the Special Care Unit is recognized for their strengths and needs to make each day comfortable and non-threatening in their environment.
At The Manor, our Customized Service Options allow each resident to receive the services that best meet his or her needs. If required, additional assistance is available. We help with food service, grooming, medication, dressing, bathing...all activities of daily living.

You will enjoy complete peace of mind knowing that our highly trained nursing staff is on duty around the clock and are available whenever you need assistance. There is an emergency call system in your suite, linking you to our nursing staff so you know their reponse will be immediate.
Additional security features include a monitored fire protection system with sprinklers and smoke detectors. And the building is secured every evening and monitored by staff throughout the night from inside the building.
